Service · Event Aftermovie
We capture the event as it happens and build the recap around what people actually said. The result is a film your audience rewatches and your sponsors put in the deck.
01
What it is
An event aftermovie is a short cinematic recap film that captures the energy, key moments and atmosphere of a conference or festival, designed to be reused across marketing, sponsor decks and next year’s promotion. A SocialVids aftermovie is built around vox-pops: real, unscripted reactions from the people who were actually there. We grab honest answers throughout the day, then cut the visuals around those voices.
That is the difference between a film that gets watched and a montage of crowd shots and lanyards set to a stock track. We serve events across Prague, Central Europe and London, and the approach travels with us.
02
Our approach
Single-camera coverage following the event flow is the standard. We scale to multi-camera and licensed drone when the brief calls for it.
/ 01 · BEFORE
A short brief on the must-capture moments: sponsor activations, key people, brand beats. Enough planning to guarantee nothing critical is missed, no more.
/ 02 · CAPTURE
A roving operator captures the event as it unfolds. Single-camera as standard; multi-cam, gimbal and licensed drone available when the event justifies it.
/ 03 · VOX-POPS
Throughout the day we grab short, honest on-camera reactions. These are the structural backbone of the film and the reason it feels real.
/ 04 · DELIVER
One hero recap as the headline deliverable, with social cuts alongside on request. Trailers and extended versions available whenever you want them.
03
What you get
/ 01
The headline deliverable. A 60 to 120 second recap built around real attendee voices and the day’s natural arc. Colour-graded, fully licensed audio, ready for every channel.

Common questions
Most recap films are built outside-in: an editor writes a story, then forces footage to fit it. We work inside-out, capture honest reactions throughout the day, then build the cut around those voices. The film feels real because it is real, and it gives sponsors and speakers something they actually want to share.

In plain terms
What is an event aftermovie?
An event aftermovie is a short recap film, usually 60 to 120 seconds, that captures the energy, people and key moments of a conference or festival. It combines highlights, attendee voices and licensed music into a piece organisers use to promote the next edition, close sponsors and keep the event visible long after it ends. SocialVids produces aftermovies built around real attendee voices rather than generic b-roll, filmed and delivered from its base in Prague.
