Business of Apps Berlin: the last edition at Hotel Adlon.

Overview
Business of Apps is the largest media network and conference series in the mobile apps industry. Their Berlin edition pulls product leaders, growth marketers and investors from across Europe.
2025 was the final edition at Hotel Adlon. The brief was clear: capture the calibre of conversation that Business of Apps is known for, plus deliver branded video content for every sponsor, turning the day into assets the Business of Apps team and their partners could publish for months afterward.
Two parallel objectives: Event Talks Studio for the speakers, plus a sponsor video pipeline running alongside it.
The setup
A dedicated studio room, plus booth-based sponsor capture.
Event Talks Studio had its own dedicated room at the Adlon. Branded backdrop, two-camera setup, professional audio and lighting. Roughly a dozen attendees could come in, sit down and watch each conversation live, making the studio doubly useful as a delegate experience.
Sponsor videos ran in parallel, captured directly at each sponsor’s booth on the show floor. Single-camera interview cut with B-roll of the booth and the sponsor’s crew in action. No studio time required from the sponsors, we came to them.
Three crew on-site, one day, two pipelines running in parallel.
One conversation, three deliverables.
Each App Talk episode was produced as a long-form video plus 14 short-form cuts, every short delivered in three formats (vertical, square and horizontal) so the Business of Apps team and their sponsors could publish to whatever channel made sense.
The 22 sponsor videos followed the same logic: one piece of hero content per sponsor, each delivered in three formats. Branded to the event by default, with sponsor-branded versions available on request.
